Coyote Hunt:
Held on January 3- 5. The winning team won with 14 dogs. Second place came in with 7 and third place was 5. Overall 45 coyotes were exterminated and a great time was had by all! 30 teams participated.
Gopher Shoot:
Annual event in May. The winning team shot 365 gophers and returned to Choteau with them prior to the 4 p.m.deadline. We penalize 2 gophers per minute past the deadline. Some years we allow shooter to cut tails, but we required the carcass (or what was left) for this hunt.
This is a popular event which stirs up the radical leftists who care more about animals than people.
We enjoy it as part of the culture of Montana and rodent control.Come join us!
